Your Birth Story

Every baby’s entrance into this world is a precious event.

Would you like to share your own birth story? You can do so right here on the Heavenly Hearth! We are a community of like-minded women who want to encourage each other in living out the role of biblical womanhood God designed for us. In keeping with that aim, your story of having a Surrendered Womb would be a very welcome inspiration to many other women!

First, please make sure you are able to agree with these two things:

  1. You must be able to agree with this blog’s Statement of Faith (just the first part, above the section titled “What Our Family Believes About . . .”). If you disagree with any item, I may still be willing to publish your story, just let me know what it is that you disagree with.
  2. You must share our conviction about the concept of having a Surrendered Womb.

Why do I require this?

I want to be consistent with the purpose of this blog, which is to be a source of inspiration and support for like-minded women. If you don’t agree with the concept of surrendering our wombs to the Lordship of Christ, or you have a different interpretation of what that means, please know that by not accepting your birth story I’m not rejecting you. I understand that many people do not share my beliefs, and I still care for them and respect them. However, this blog is targeted toward those who do share my beliefs and who are purposefully looking for encouragement.

I will gladly accept stories of both home and hospital births; natural and cesarean births; difficult and smooth births. As long as you believe in the Bible’s teaching of having a surrendered womb, your story is welcome with wide open arms!
